When I spoke to you today, I only wish I could be there to share the chocolate candy with you, but you would probably limit what I could eat, hahaha.

Chris,Having a blog for your Mom is a wonderful idea. It is great for "ole", life long friends, like myself, to keep up on her progress. We have to wonder why bad things happen to good people.... and your Mom is one of the best! Your Mom, Jim, Mark and yourself have been in my thoughts and prayers ever since I heard the shocking news. Everyday, I meet survivors and listen to their stories and I believe Joanne will join that special group. She is a fighter and she does believe. (We used to go to Sunday school together)If anyone can survive this, she can, and I believe she will.
