Had a good visit with Mom tonight.
Only 4 radiation treatments left to go. Mom saw the radiation doctor today; she is pleased with how Mom is progressing.
Mom has many flowers in her room which she is enjoying. She also received a basket today filled with fresh apples and candy ... The candy was by far her favorite!
Dad continues to be a real trooper, arriving each day by 7 AM, and remaining by Mom's side all day...

ReplyDeletePam Peterson told me about this blog today, so I signed up. I am also in touch regularly with Vint, and he's been keeping me informed as to your progress. I think of you, Jim and your sons often, and I want you to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. It sounds like your treatments are working and that you'll be able to go back to Farmington soon. You have always been a strong spirit and a fighter, and I know you'll keep at it with a positive attitude.
